Biosensors
Water biosense offers advanced biosensors to detect biological agents real- time—fundamental to prevent health risks, meet regulations, and promote environmental sustainability.

SARS-CoV-2
During the COVID-19 pandemic, detecting SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater became essential for epidemiological surveillance. A biosensor enables its identification in urban waters, facilitating outbreak monitoring and the improvement of public health control strategies.

E. coli y coliformes totales
These microorganisms indicate fecal contamination in waters, and their monitoring is key for urban supply, the food industry, and agriculture—ensuring public health and compliance with regulation (RD 3/2023).

Legionella pneumophila
Legionella poses a risk in facilities with continuous water use, such as hospitals and hotels. Water biosense biosensors detect it in real time, facilitating preventive actions and compliance according to regulation (RD 487/2022).

Enterococos spp.
Enterococci, key indicators of fecal contamination in recreational waters, are essential for protecting health at beaches, pools, and water parks. Their continuous monitoring ensures compliance with international standards and safe water use.

Clostridium perfringens
Due to its high resistance, Clostridium is used as an indicator in drinking water disinfection. Its control guarantees the elimination of pathogens and regulatory compliance, ensuring safe water for consumption.

Salmonella spp.
Salmonella spp., a key concern in food safety, must be detected in wastewater or irrigation water to prevent transmission to crops. Water biosense facilitates its control in industrial and environmental settings.
